Fast and simple Kubernetes cluster deployments

KUBERNETES

Deploy Kubernetes clusters with our fully-managed container orchestration engine.

Linode Kubernetes Engine (LKE)

LKE is a fully-managed K8s container orchestration engine for deploying and managing containerized applications and workloads. LKE combines Linode’s ease of use and simple pricing with infrastructure efficiency. You can now get your infrastructure and workloads up and running in minutes instead of days.

No Management Fees

You only pay for Compute Instances, NodeBalancers, and Block Storage Volumes. You don’t pay a penny for your managed Kubernetes control plane, unlike other Cloud providers.

Amazon EKS & GKE charge a per cluster management fee of $.10/hour or $73/month.

Introduction to Linode Kubernetes Engine

Linode Pricing

LKE pricing includes only the resources you consume – Compute Instances, NodeBalancers, and  Volumes. The service provides a free Kubernetes Control Plane, which can be upgraded to high-availability for $60 per cluster, per month.

Additional LKE Features

etcd Backups

A snapshot of your cluster's metadata is backed up continuously, so your cluster is automatically restored in the event of a failure.

Self-Service Version Upgrades

Get the latest Kubernetes features and security by easily upgrading your clusters' Kubernetes versions on your own schedule in the Linode Cloud Manager.

Automated Recovery

All of your master and node components are monitored and will automatically recover if they fail.

Persistent Storage

Block Storage Volumes are automatically provisioned, attached as workloads, and deployed to your LKE cluster.

DNS Management

DNS records are assigned to new resources upon creation and removed when those resources are deleted.

Load Balancing

LKE can automatically provision and configure Linode NodeBalancers to route traffic from the public internet to your cluster's distributed workloads.

Aggregation Layer & Metrics Pipeline

The API server connects to LKE workloads allowing you to see real-time metrics for your cluster.
CNCF Kubernetes Certified

CNCF Certified

Linode is certified as part of the CNCF Certified Kubernetes Conformance Program. This means your LKE workloads conform to portability standards, and you'll always have access to the latest updates and features. Linode is a silver sponsor of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), where Kubernetes is a Graduated Project.

"I honestly think Linode Kubernetes Engine might be the simplest hosted Kubernetes I've ever used."

Nigel Poulton, Linux & Kubernetes Author, Trainer
